Please allow me to apologize for the lapse in updating the carnellknowledge.com web site. I have been working on another web site, an important web site, one that I support 100%. Due to deadlines and the scope of the project, I was unable to put in the time that is required to deliver a superior product to my readers. I decided that rather than an inferior update, it would be better to wait until I could again deliver the headlines and commentary that carnellknowledge.com has consistently delivered in the past.

The web site that has received the majority of my attention over the last couple of months is Republicans for Black Empowerment. This non-profit organization is truly a step in the right direction for black Americans. They are a nationally recognized grassroots organization that supports black republican candidates, fosters dialogue about issues affecting the black community, and gives blacks an alternative to the harmful victimology mindset propagated by the democrats.

I urge everyone to visit the Republicans for Black Empowerment web site and become a member. By supporting this organization, you are giving an important alternative voice to black Americans that are tired of the same “Vote for Us and Receive Nothing in Return” policies of the democrat party. It is in the best interests of black Americans to achieve a balance between the parties and make each party accountable. For too long blacks have supported democrats without receiving the benefits that their nearly unanimous support deserves.

The policies and ideas implemented by democrats often hurt blacks. Gun control leaves many law-abiding blacks in poor neighborhoods defenseless against gangs that have no problems obtaining weapons. Abortion is responsible for killing more blacks in 2001 than the top ten causes of death including homicide. School vouchers, which democrats strongly oppose, could allow black parents living in low-income housing to send their kids to the school of their choice instead of being sentenced to an inferior public school surrounded by drugs and violence. It is disturbing, to say the least, that democrats support a woman’s right to choose sticking a fork into an unborn babies head but can’t seem to comprehend why someone might want to choose what school their child should attend.
